some notes about me (up until now):
- spent 9 years in art school (4 years as a visual art major) → fell in love with everything art + design
- rapped to drake & became student body president for 2 years → learned i love working in + leading teams
- starting from 15, worked for 6 diff startups → fell in love w building
- deferred upenn m&t → working product full time @ simple ventures
- learning, reading (always appreciate a good book rec!), experiencing as much as i can in 1 year!

Simple Ventures
Simple Ventures is a venture studio started & backed by top Canadian founders like Mike Katchen (Wealthsimple), Joanna Griffiths (Knix), and Harley Finkelstein (Shopify).
I work on product, design and operations across all our portfolio companies — essentially, I do whatever it takes to help founders succeed. what i do includes: product design, creating websites, designing decks, branding & marketing, ads & copywriting, building databases, taking photos & videos + anything that adds value.

Ideas Matter
Ideas Matter is an 8-week fellowship for aspiring writers who want to reach an audience through their writing. Fellows receive access to editors, fund, and complete works features in an anthology.
Cohort 1 of Ideas Matter consists of 14 fellows, selected from 500+ applicants. Fellows consist of researches with PhD degrees at Harvard, MIT, and John Hopkins; regular contributors to WIRED magazine; investors at top venture capital firms; and lead scientists at biotechnology companies.
